Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt challenged me to write a poem that uses lines that have a repetitive set-up. I wrote a poem about how hugs can have all sorts of different definitions and the context of a hug can have unintended consequences.
Tangles
In the deep love of a hug.
In the deep hug of a bear.
In the deep bear of your soul.
In the deep soul of your heart.
In the deep heart of the ocean.
In the deep ocean of a hug.
In the deep hug of an octopus.
Embraced to the bottom.
