Shortcast (n) (SHORT-kast) - A podcast format designed for people with short attention spans.
Eartime (n) (IR-tim) — The number of minutes, hours, days, months, and years you've spent listening to podcasts.
Endcap Sandwich (n) (end-KAP sand-WICH) — When adding an intro and outro to existing audio makes it worse.
Feedbacker (n) (fed-BAKER) — A listener who loves what you've created and sends you a note to tell you.
Flawsome (adj) (FLO-sem) — A podcaster who embraces their flaws as awesome show features.
Podbernation (n) (POD-ber-na-TION) — The break between seasonal episodes that toys with your content consumption addiction.
Podcast (n) (POD-kast) — An idea you turn into an audio show that nobody listens to.
Podcaster (n) (POD-cast-er) — Someone who won't shut up — now with their own show.
Podcon (n) (POD-CON) — An annual gathering of podcasters.
Poddown (n) (POD-down) — When you have a podcast nobody can find or your feed becomes invalid.
Podfade (n) (POD-fade) — To quit your podcast.
Podflash (n) (POD-flash) — A show that never starts.
Podiversary (n) (POD-i-vers-ARY) — The anniversary of the day you launched your podcast's first episode.
Podtennial (n) (POD-ten-ni-AL) — The podcast "graduation" from amateur to professional podcaster at episode 100.
Podwreck (n) (POD-rek) — A dead show topping a category.
Woocasting (n) (WOO-kasting) — When multiple shows publish their episodes to the same feed.
